Lotto,Long-Drops and Lolly Scrambles (By Peter Howland)
I got this book in my 1st year at uni and it is very good at looking at Anthropology in a New Zealand view. It states on the back on the back cover ” Peter Howland’s cheeky and challenging essays focus an anthropologist eye on private and public aspects of Kiwi middle- class life’ ( I think there are copies at vic library). Maybe some inspiration for the Anzac assignment. It is very easy reading and very different from many other anthropologist academic articles and readings. A bit of a laugh also.
